Community Economic Empowerment
The Company's CSR programs in the economic sector have been focused on developing the micro business community. These programs are designed based on social mapping and field surveys, which cover three main sectors of economic activity within the community: fishery, farming and home industries with food as the main product.

In 2009, this program has supported many micro businesses in communities from villages surrounding Kota Jababeka, including goat farming, duck farming, catfish farming, duck eggs farming, fish farming and the cassava chips home industry.

In addition, the Company established cooperative relationships with external institutions and local governments, including the Animal Husbandry Department of the Bekasi Regency and PT Ming Horng Asktechnica Industrial, in connection with economic empowerment and assisting the micro businesses community.

Another commitment to economic empowerment by the Company is manifested in facilitating the "Market Festival" held every weekend as the ultimate venue for sports, recreation and culinary activities. This program has created job opportunities and offered an income to hundreds of local people who previously had no fixed income.
