Education
In the field of education, Jababeka's CSR programs prioritize improving educational facilities that would better support the teaching and learning skills and opportunities of students and teachers compared to providing financial assistance. The aim of Jababeka's CSR activities in this area is to improve the quality and access to education. Translating this idea, Jababeka has developed CSR programs that cater to the educational sector. These programs include providing infrastructure and school equipment, especially at the primary level, and giving scholarships to students from primary level to senior high school.
Sustainable support of educational programs is provided by Jababeka through the establishment of an Educational Institute which comprises of President Junior and Senior High School, and President University, which is designed with international quality standards and English as the only medium of instruction. Scholarships are routinely granted by Jababeka, in collaboration with local governments, throughout Indonesia in order to enable students to study at President University.
Jababeka and the students of President University also help students at schools in the communities surrounding the township. These extracurricular activities, which include teaching English, mathematics, science, art and culture, aims to help students master their learning materials and enrich the learning experience of all parties involved.
Another form of CSR is provided by giving students from all over Indonesia the opportunity to conduct a comparative study in Jababeka's Industrial Estate and link theory from university with practice in a working environment.
