Kota Jababeka's integrated Education Park was developed in cooperation with Professor Brian Lee of Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. By forging strong academic industrial partnerships between academic institutions and corporations, the Education Park aims to provide the children and the young residing in the development, a vibrant and creative academic environment. The resulting creative synergies will in itself attract students from outside the development as the Education Park consistently provides academic and industrial training of the highest caliber. Across an area spanning a total of 360 hectares, the Jababeka Education Park will house an increasing number of educational institutions of various levels, from elementary to high school, and from polytechnic to university. For tertiary education, a University Town with boast common tertiary-level facilities such as a library, sports centre, a research center as well as an ICT (Information communication and technology) innovation center, international center for physic Olympiad, student and faculty housing with comprehensive health & medical services are being developed with a focus on comfort. Current tenants of the Education Park include the International Elementary and Secondary school, the President International School, the Singapore international School, Al-Azhar as well as BPK Penabur elementary to high schools, SMA Presiden (Boarding School), SMP President (National Plus) and the best and leading tertiary institutions such as the Polytechnic President, President University, Gunadarma University, University of Indonesia's Engineering Center, Continuing Education Program, Indonesia leading industrial and engineering polytechnic-ATMI Cikarang, Cikarang Committee of Society Empowerment and Service (LPPM-C), and the MBA-ITB Graduate School of Business & Management. The President University, in particular, offers an international education experience without leaving home. Courses are taught in English and focus on real-world standards and parameters. In order to make a more enriching learning experience, there has been a joint signed MOU between President University and established parties, mainly, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Indosat M2, Waseda University in Japan, and Microsoft Indonesia to enhance the educational environment at the Jababeka educational institutions. As Jababeka places high importance in providing the best educational opportunities, we also provide training facilities such as Proven Force Indonesia and President Business Institute (PBI). Based in Menara Batavia, the international PBI training center concentrates on the development of communication based skills. PBI is also fully accredited by the London Chamber of Commerce & Industry International Qualifications (LCCI) and act as its exclusive Market Representative in Indonesia. As these facilities will further enable students to achieve their potential, Jababeka additionally supports cooperative programs with the Jababeka business community - home to over 1,000 leading international and local companies. With a provision of trained and educated manpower, the Education Park will in turn provide tremendous support back to the Jababeka business community. This mutual life-injecting process will draw scores of students to the development's various tertiary institutions.
