Jababeka realizes the vital importance of the existence of educational facilities in its township, hence much has been investment in the creation of an education park covering 80 hectares in the residential estate. Approximately 10,000 students enjoy their education in Jababeka’s education park, which is home to 16 schools and higher learning institutions. Jababeka started the education park in 2001 by setting up President University (PU), the first and until now only university in Indonesia where the medium of instruction is 100% English. PU’s curricula are economics, communication, computing and engineering and PU has become very popular amongst high school graduates. The educational estate is home to one SMA National Plus schools, namely SMA Presiden. Other educational institutions and facilities include several renowned universities, research centers, leading private elementary, junior and high schools and student dormitories. Jababeka welcomes investors to build an educational facility and or put up supporting facilities.
