The Concept Plan: Kota Jababeka has a vision for itself in the 21st century. This vision is found in the concept plan – a long-range blueprint for physical development. The plan is a way of catering to the needs of today’s generation without sacrificing the needs of tomorrow’s generation. It anticipates what we may need 20 to 25 years in the future. It safeguards land to meet both social and economic needs such as housing, leisure, industry, transport, community facilities, business and the environmental. The concept plan is reviewed every 10 years.
The Master plan: The long-term vision of the concept plan is translated into a detailed, medium-term Master Plan that guides development in the next 5 to 10 years. It clearly lays out guidelines on what land can be used for residential, commercial, industrial or institutional developments. Also, density of developments, building coefficients and building heights calculations are included in the Master Plan. The master plan is reviewed every five years.

Zona International (ZONI)
The Government’s idea to develop KEKI (Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus Indonesia) or Special Economic Zone) must be appreciated and greatly supported. That is why, on December 2006 Jababeka signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Department of Public Works, the Government of the West Java Province, the Government of Bekasi Regency, PT Jasa Marga and other developers in the Cikarang aim to improved services within the industrial community in Cikarang-Bekasi area, allowing investrs to do business more conveniently. Programs currently undergoing include, among other things, the construction of Cikarang Cibarusah flyover, the construction of additional lanes in the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road, and expansion of the roads in the vicinity of Cikarang region.
It initiated on the beginning of December 2006, 7 industrial areas in Bekasi agreed to form KEKI under the name of ZONI (Zona International or International Zone), witnessed by the Governor of West Java and the Minister of Public Work. By unification in Zoni, community development can be done more efficiently and with relatively lower cost because all 7 industrial areas can coordinate with local government to create an integrated community development plan. Good Government service can provide professional “one stop service”.
