Kota Jababeka’s complete and modern infrastructure meets the highest international standards and operates in accordance with environmentally friendly policies. Moreover, the infrastructure has the capacity to easily support foreseeable growth of its estates.
As the true source of life in any community heavily depends on clean water, Jababeka places as top importance the provision of clean water. Clean water for the industrial estate and drinking water for community is treated and supplied by two water treatment plant units with a total capacity of 500 liter/second, which is expandable to 1,000 liter/second. Jababeka’s two wastewater treatment plant units have a capacity of 325 liter/second, which is expandable to 600 liter/second. A fiber network of fiber optics with capacity up to 3 Gigabit/s powered by ICON+, and a telecommunication network with a capacity of 25,000 lines provides services to businesses and individuals. Jababeka has invested in quality road improvement and drainage services program, an in-house fire brigade and fire hydrants, 24-hour security, public lighting and public transportation, all of which fall under Jababeka’s estate management services.
From a mere industrial estate, Jababeka turned its direction to an international-level independent city, which is managed and improved by a City Council. This council is similar to an administrative government that can tie relationships and serve in a good manner all necessities of the industrial community, housing and the communities around Kota Jababeka. As a part of the estate management team, the Cikarang Committee of Society Empowerment and Service (LPPM-C) is committed to develop a positive synergy and create partnerships between companies and other entities inside and outside the Cikarang region in order to develop and improve the quality of life and integrity of the Cikarang society. They are set to effect and sustain improvement in long-term security, economic development, image, and general welfare of companies, the industrial community and the Cikarang society
