Cikarang, July 2, 2026 – A subsidiary of PT Jababeka Tbk, PT Jababeka Infrastruktur, as the manager of the Jababeka Industrial Estate, received an award at the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSLP) / CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Awards 2026 held by the Bekasi Regency Government, at the Wibawa Mukti Building, Bekasi Regency Government Office Complex, Thursday (7/2/2026).
This event was held as a form of appreciation for companies that have carried out Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSLP) programs in an innovative, sustainable, and impactful way for the community throughout 2025.
Winning six awards at once
At the event, PT Jababeka Infrastruktur won six (6) awards at once, namely 1st Place in the Infrastructure Category, 1st Place in the Industrial Estate Management Category, 2nd Place in the SDGs Social Pillar Category, 1st Place in the SDGs Economic Pillar Category, 1st Place in the SDGs Environmental Pillar Category, as well as the Top SDGs Winner title given by the Bekasi Regency Government as an official recognition of the company’s performance throughout 2025.
The Top SDGs Award itself is the highest award given to companies with the best overall track record across the three SDG pillars, namely economic, social, and environmental. With these achievements, PT Jababeka Infrastruktur underscores its consistency in implementing integrated sustainable development programs.
Collaboration with the community is the key to success
This series of awards is the result of the company’s long-term commitment to running TJSLP programs that focus on infrastructure, environment, health, education, and community empowerment around the Jababeka Industrial Estate.
One program that has also attracted attention is the mangrove planting in the Muara Gembong coastal area, carried out as an effort to protect the coastal ecosystem while involving the local community in sustainable environmental conservation.
In addition, PT Jababeka Infrastruktur also supports the development of the Mekarmukti Recycling Center (PDU), a community-based waste management program that features a Mini Plant of Low Carbon Feed. Through this facility, organic waste is processed using the Black Soldier Fly (BSF) maggot cultivation method, which helps reduce the volume of organic waste while creating new economic opportunities for local residents.
The success of the TJSLP program is also inseparable from the active role of the community as partners of PT Jababeka Infrastruktur on the ground, such as Jahuri, the head of RW 12 and also the head of Bumdes Mekarmukti, who initiated the Low Carbon Feed Mini Plant which grew into the Mekarmukti Edu-tourism Village and won the Innovation Award for the Leading Program of KKN Universitas Pelita Bangsa 2024/2025; Sonhaji, the head of the Alipbata Tourism Awareness Group, who drives mangrove conservation and ecotourism in Muara Gembong; and Wiwi Marwiyah, who promotes economic empowerment of residents through sewing skills. Collaborating with these local movers shows that the success of TJSLP is also determined by the community’s sense of togetherness in protecting the environment and building shared prosperity.
Responding to this achievement, Didik Purbadi, as the President Director of PT Jababeka Infrastruktur, stated that social and environmental responsibility is the company’s commitment to grow together with the community and create sustainable impact.
“For Jababeka, social and environmental responsibility is a commitment to grow alongside the community and create a lasting impact. We believe that strong synergy between the government, businesses, and the community is the key to achieving inclusive development,” he said.
Purbadi – his familiar nickname – also expressed his appreciation to the Bekasi Regency Government for giving recognition to the private sector’s role in supporting regional development through CSR programs. He also thanked them for the good communication and partnership that has been maintained between the government and the private sector.
According to him, the Bekasi Regency CSR Awards are expected to continue being a platform that encourages companies to bring innovation and make a real contribution to the progress of Bekasi Regency.
Through the series of programs that have been running, PT Jababeka Infrastruktur will continue to reaffirm its commitment to supporting sustainable development in Bekasi Regency, by paying attention to balancing environmental, social, and economic aspects of the communities around the industrial area.
Not just building a self-sufficient city
PT Jababeka Infrastruktur Director, Vega Violetta Puspa, emphasized that the company will continue to strengthen collaboration with various parties so that the TJSLP programs can provide broader and more sustainable benefits.
“Moving forward, PT Jababeka Infrastruktur will continue to strengthen synergy with local governments, academics, and other stakeholders in carrying out corporate social responsibility programs that have real and sustainable impacts on the broader community, in line with efforts to support achieving SDG targets and the national sustainable development agenda,” said Vega.
Digging deeper, these efforts are part of the company’s commitment to creating areas with an integrated ecosystem where companies, talent, and communities grow faster, operate more efficiently, and transform towards a greener and smarter future. As PT Jababeka Tbk’s commitment states, it’s not just about building self-sufficient industrial-based cities, but Jababeka wants to build the future of Indonesia’s industry.
