CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
The Company’s CSR programs cover three main areas: economic empowerment, social welfare, and environment.
Rapid development of the Jababeka Industrial Estate continues to encourage the Company to bring welfare to the surrounding communities. The effort to improve the welfare of these communities is reflected in the implementation of Jababeka Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs and activities. Jababeka CSR programs consider the need of the community and work closely with local stakeholders, such as ministers, governors, regents, district, and village heads as well as tenants of Jababeka.
Jababeka CSR programs focus on the needs of the communities and is supervised by those same communities. The implementation of the CSR programs is initiated by ideas from the communities with the help of Jababeka CSR. These community-based programs hopefully benefit the community in return.
A number of programs received awards from the Coordinating Ministry for People’s Welfare, the Governor and CSR activists (CFCD – Corporate Forum for Community Development). Programs that received awards include the clean water supply in the industrial estate program and the nutrition improvement for infants and toddlers program.
GETAS (Gerakan Sehat Atasi Stunting)
The GETAS (Gerakan Sehat Atasi Stunting) program is an initiative of PT Jababeka Infrastruktur to address the problem of stunting in Bekasi Regency. Through counseling, training, and supplementary feeding, GETAS aims to increase public awareness about the importance of nutrition, early detection of stunting cases, and provide appropriate treatment for children who have indicated stunting. Thus, it is hoped that the GETAS program can help create a healthier and higher quality generation of Bekasi District.
