First Export Yahama through CDP
Today, PT. Yamaha Music Manufacturing Asia (YMAA), a Japanese electronic musical manufacturing, starts their first export from Cikarang Dry Port (CDP) to Japan. The multimodal transport B/L is served by APL. One container 40ft is successfully passes the port clearance and customs clearance at Cikarang-Bekasi and arrives at JICT Terminal at Tanjung Priok Port.
Empty container pick up at PT. KAN container depot which located in CDP area by Iron Bird Logistics as appointed freight forwarder. After stuffing at shipper premises at Cibitung area, the laden container is sending to CDP terminal. As per state in Bill of Lading document, Cikarang Dry Port stated as place of receipt, container already received by APL as Liner earlier as well as risk to bring the container to the vessel at Tanjung Priok Port.
“CDP is our alternative solution due to our expansion / building renovation by this mid-year”, said Wahyo Sindhu, Manager of YMMA who attend on the gate out activities at CDP. Once the laden container arrived at CDP Terminal, shipper may tracking the container movement from CDP to Tj Priok Port from CDP website. Increase visibility and safety during the container movement.
