Investment Minister Optimistic Mutual Cooperation Vaccination at Unilever Jababeka Factory Boosts Global Investor Confidence

The inaugural Gotong Royong Vaccination was held at PT Unilever in the Jababeka- Cikarang Industrial Area , Tuesday (18/05/2021). Bahlil Lahadalia , Minister of Investment of the Republic of Indonesia who participated in the implementation, explained that the implementation of the Mutual Cooperation Vaccination carried out by the business world with the government will restore investor confidence and global opinion on the handling of Covid-19 in Indonesia.

“Our hope is that vaccinations according to the maximum target can be realized and we can restore the confidence of business actors, investors, the public and global opinion on how to handle COVID-19 in Indonesia,” he said in the Jababeka Industrial Area, Cikarang, West Java. 

More deeply, he also expressed his optimism that the Mutual Cooperation Vaccination program would increase the confidence of business actors and investors to invest. So that it can trigger a national economic recovery.

“With this vaccination, investors and business actors will be more confident in carrying out a thorough planning and investment realization which in the end will be able to create jobs. The end of the investment is how to create jobs, how to increase state income, because that is the responsibility of all of us, “he said. 

Not to forget, the Minister of Investment also appreciated the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) as the pioneer of this Mutual Cooperation Vaccination program. Where can help reduce the curve of the spread of covid-19 in Indonesia.

“I really thank KADIN and the business world for conducting the Mutual Cooperation vaccination. Hopefully this will be a positive momentum for Indonesia and the international community in seeing how Indonesia resolves and deals with COVID-19 in our country, “he said.

Previously, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) expressed his joy that the mutual cooperation vaccination program had begun.

“I am very happy that this morning I can meet you, ladies and gentlemen, because the mutual cooperation vaccination this morning has started. I was at PT Unilever in Jababeka, I saw that there were 18 locations for industrial factory companies that were also jointly carrying out mutual cooperation vaccinations, “said Jokowi at the location.
