PT Jababeka Tbk through one of its subsidiaries, namely PT Jababeka Infrastruktur and the Center for Industrial HR Education and Training of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia signed a cooperation agreement on the development of industrial human resources related to industry 4.0, where the agreement became the basis for the parties in order to accelerate the transformation of industry 4.0.
“I am very glad and happy because it has only been 8 months since PIDI (Indonesian Industrial Digital Innovation Center) 4.0 operated, we already have 29 industrial partners and universities. I hope that all PIDI 4.0 partners can contribute to Making Indonesia 4.0 and I am waiting for the Hackathon (software and hardware project development activities) that Jababeka will hold with PIDI 4.0,” explained Arus Gunawan as Head of BPSDMI.
The signing of this agreement is one of a series of events in the activities held by the Center for Industrial Hr Education and Training of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia in Bali which was attended by companies that are members of the PIDI 4.0 Ecosystem, including PT Telekomunikasi Selular, PT Schneider Indonesia, PT Ericsson Indonesia, and others.

The main agenda in this activity in Bali is the evaluation of 2022 programs and activities for the entire PIDI 4.0 Ecosystem.
“We held this event at the Denpasar Industrial Training Center (BDI) so that partners could see and be encouraged to provide cooperation ideas related to the development of the PIDI 4.0 Satellite in Bali. BDI Denpasar has a focus on developing industrial human resources in the field of animation and digital content,” explained Wisnu as Head of the Industrial HR Education and Training Center of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia.
For your information, PT Jababeka Infrastruktur is the only industrial estate company invited to the activity.
PT Jababeka Infrastruktur through Fablab Jababeka as the PIDI 4.0 Satellite has an important role, namely in order to collaborate with the Industrial HR Education and Training Center of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia to develop industrial human resources and transform industry 4.0 in Indonesia.
Fablab Jababeka is one of the facilities located in the Jababeka Industrial Estate – Cikarang, intended as a center for innovation, competency development and prototypes of various products related to the implementation of Industry 4.0 and is a proof of PT Jababeka Tbk’s commitment to support the Government’s Making Indonesia 4.0 program and specifically to accelerate industry 4.0 in the Jababeka-Cikarang Industrial Estate.
Fablab Jababeka has been developed in accordance with the objectives of PIDI 4.0 which includes five pillars, namely showcase, capability, delivery, engineering & AI, and ecosystem.
It should be noted that so far PT Jababeka Infrastruktur is the only partner of a private business entity appointed as a PIDI 4.0 Satellite.
On this occasion, PT Jababeka Infrastruktur represented by Agung Wicaksono as Managing Director signed the agreement and at the same time presented material on activities that will be carried out in the near future as the first step in implementing the agreement, namely the Hackathon through cooperation with PT Bisa Artificial Indonesia.
“This hackathon activity is in line with one of the 10 national priorities for making Indonesia 4.0, namely improving the quality of human resources,” explained Agung.
In the Hackathon activity, each participating team must submit a proposal containing an idea for a solution to a real problem that is being faced by manufacturing companies operating in the Jababeka Industrial Estate.
All ideas from the participating teams will be selected so that only 5-10 proposals of the best ideas will be selected and for participating teams whose products have received traction, support will be given in the form of establishing a business entity in the form of a limited liability company (PT), managing intellectual property rights, and having the opportunity to get funding from venture capital.
The results of this Hackathon activity will be implemented in the industrial sector so that it can have a real impact on making Indonesia 4.0.
