Jababeka Collaborates with ACC, THF and Bekasi Regency Government to Distribute Thousands of Packaged Rice & Food Packages for Flood Victims

Cikarang – Heavy rains that hit Bekasi and its surrounding areas since last Friday (19/2) have resulted in flooding in various areas.

Not a few residents’ homes and commercial centers were submerged in water and cut off road access. In fact, not a few residents have volunteered to leave their vehicles on the road.

Seeing this condition, as a form of concern for others, Jababeka Group in collaboration with ABG Charity Club (ACC), Tidar Heritage Foundation (THF), Bekasi District Government (Pemkab) provided a total of 3000 packaged rice and basic necessities for residents affected by the flood. This is because many people find it difficult to fulfill their food when their houses are flooded.

“We are very aware that floods make it difficult for people to meet their daily needs. Because if the house is flooded, people will find it difficult to cook. Therefore, even though we cannot do much, for 3 days we will distribute 1000 packaged rice and basic necessities, starting from February 24 to 26. A total of 3000 packaged rice and basic necessities, “said Hansen, ACC Coordinator, in the headline Caring for Community Impacts of Floods: Giat Amal Cap Go Meh, at Jababeka Marketing Gallery, Cikarang (24/2/2021).
