Jababeka Presents Jababeka Industrial Estate Roadmap Towards Net Zero Industrial Cluster 2050

PT Jababeka Tbk reaffirmed its commitment to action to achieve net zero Industrial cluster 2050 at “The Renewable Energy and Climate Summit: Indonesia – The Netherlands”, at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Jakarta, Tuesday (12/10).

In the event, Cynthia Hendrayani COO of PT. Jababeka Infrastruktur – representing the management of the Jababeka Industrial Estate – Cikarang, explained acceleration efforts, challenges and the road map of the Jababeka Industrial Estate with the topic “Sustainability Efforts of One of Indonesia’s Largest Industrial Estate Companies”.

“I hope that during the series of activities held in Jakarta, as well as the establishment of bilateral relations between Indonesia and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, can open opportunities for collaboration and business matching in the field of renewable energy in Indonesia,” Cynthia Hendrayani said in front of more than 50 Dutch delegations consisting of high levels of state, representatives of companies and investors in the field of renewable energy and academics.

The Anugerah Pharmindo Lestari Ias Besatari , explained the sustainability targets and programs implemented at the APL Cikarang site, including smart lighting in the warehouse and ground-mounted solar panels with a capacity of 800 kWp.

In addition to APL, several other Jababeka-NZICC members were also present, including PT. Hitachi Astemo Bekasi Manufacturing, PT. Mattel Indonesia, PT. Sibelco Lautan Minerals, PT. Kerry Ingredients Indonesia, PT. ICI Paints Indonesia, PT. Mane Indonesia, PT. TUV NORD Indonesia, PT. EON Chemical, and PT. Nippon Steel Chemical And Material Indonesia.

On this occasion, Cynthia – her nickname, hoped that the visit of the Kingdom of the Netherlands delegation could be useful as a forum for networking, sharing sessions, and opportunities for business matching between Jababeka-NZICC members and delegates from the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

“I believe that the presence of the delegation can be a place for knowledge exchange, discussion, and even collaboration for Jababeka-NZICC members who want to implement EBT,” Cynthia said.

“This is also proof that Jababeka-NZICC as a community has succeeded in becoming a forum for tenants in the Jababeka Industrial Estate to share knowledge and build partnerships, to realize decarbonization in the Jababeka Industrial Estate,” Cynthia added.
