Jababeka Together with Tenants Distributes Rp 350 Million in Aid for Disaster Victims in Sumatra

Cikarang, December 19, 2025PT Jababeka Tbk, through PT Jababeka Infrastruktur, as the manager of the Jababeka Industrial Estate, demonstrated its commitment to social care by initiating a humanitarian aid campaign for communities affected by disasters in the Sumatra region (Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra). This activity involves the active participation of industrial estate tenants, partners, employees, and the general public.

Through this collaboration, the total humanitarian aid collected reached IDR 350 million. The fundraising was carried out from December 1 to December 18, 2025, and concluded with a handover event held on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport. 

Donations from companies and tenants in the industrial area come from PT Jababeka Infrastruktur along with actively participating tenants, including PT Mitrapak Eramandiri, President Schools, PT Eonchemicals Putra, PT Multi Usage Indonesia, PT Bina Niaga Multiusaha, PT Voestalpine Bohler Welding Asia Pacific, PT T. RAD Indonesia, PT Oriental Ceramic Indonesia, PT Indo Sultan Jaya, PT Webforge Indonesia, PT Fukoku Tokai Rubber Indonesia, PT Samjin, PT Nippon Steel Chemical & Material Indonesia, PT Liwayway, PT OSG Indonesia, PT Fondanusa Aditama, PT Fitto Natura Medica, PT Anugerah Daya Industri Komponen Utama, PT Doo Won Precision Indonesia, PT Techno Metal Industry, PT Sintertech, PT Tokai Texprint Indonesia, PT Union Metal, PT Asahi Cipta Prima, and PT Kanuc Indonesia. Besides monetary donations, there are also contributions in the form of daily necessities distributed to affected communities.

In addition to support from companies and tenants, the participation of employees and the general public also contributed as a form of solidarity and concern for communities affected by disasters.

The total amount of collected humanitarian aid was IDR 350 million. This fund and humanitarian assistance were distributed through the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) with the support of the Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) using a Hercules aircraft, to meet the emergency and recovery needs of communities affected by disasters in Sumatra, including food and daily logistics, hygiene and sanitation supplies, baby and women’s necessities, as well as other supporting equipment.

During the aid handover event, Jababeka Infrastruktur symbolically handed over humanitarian aid to BNPB to then be distributed to communities affected by disasters in Sumatra.

Major General TNI (Ret.) Sumardi, Head of the Jababeka City Council, stated that this activity is a tangible expression of the company’s concern and the entire Jababeka industrial area ecosystem for social and humanitarian conditions.

“We from Jababeka, President Schools, and the tenants have delivered humanitarian aid for the disasters in West Sumatra, North Sumatra, and Aceh. The aid provided includes rice, cooking oil, underwear, instant noodles, mineral water, and others,” said the man commonly known as Sumardi.

Meanwhile, Vega Violetta, as Director of Jababeka Infrastruktur, hopes this aid can provide real benefits, ease the burden of the affected communities, and at the same time strengthen the spirit of mutual cooperation between the business world and society.

Not forgetting, Vega – as she is commonly called – expressed her appreciation as well as her gratitude to the tenants, employees, and the community who have participated in this fundraising effort.

“Although we cannot go directly to Sumatra, we hope this aid can be beneficial to the disaster victims and that Sumatra can recover soon,” she concluded.
